Born in 1973

Needless to say it is true that as we grow old, our metabolism isn’t quite like the way it was during our teens. Although, I myself don’t see any reason for fear of growing old, but keeping a healthy figure is strictly included in my top priority list. For some individuals who have been too pre-occupied with their careers either in business, corporate or medical industry which is in great demand at the moment like the ultrasound technician positions, there are times that with our busy schedules, we do find it hard concentrating on our health, particularly the weight management issues.

So, as I’ve done a lot of researches, let me share with you these quick and manageable steps to maintain a healthy figure as we grow old. Let us together learn from this topic and try to apply it in our day to day activities:

  • Create a diet plan

Making a list of what would be our meals in a day sets a realizable direction in our diet mission. Try to make each meal a nutritious one with a combination of more fruits and vegetables. Strictly follow this diet plan and for sure you are one step higher to achieving a healthy figure.

  • Workout regimen

In order for our metabolism to burn those extra calories faster, we need to enroll ourselves to a workout regimen that includes total body exercise. This will not only help us maintain a lovely figure but is also beneficial for the heart.

  • Adequate sleep

A well-rested night will give us the needed energy to perform our daily activities like the exercise, so try to set a standard time when your body needs to rest and sleep. A good sleep mostly requires 8-10 hours for our bodies to regenerate. Sometimes, people who lack sleep tend to eat more compared to those who had slept soundly.

  • Alcohol intake

Try to limit the alcohol intake. Remember any form of alcohol drinks do contain some sugar components, so it is advisable to monitor the amount of alcohol or other forms of drinks aside from water.

I hope you learned some vital tips from this topic. Let us all face growing old with positivity. A great way to combat the physical signs of aging is to stay fit and healthy. Years may add to our ages, but these are just figures. What matters most is how we live our lives to the fullest and how we contribute for the betterment of our community is that counts best.
